In a study conducted with 60 healthy, only slightly overweight women (BMI 25-30) who were between 25-45 years old, Supresa intake over t8 weeks resulted in significantly greater body weight reduction than the placebo group. Supresa decreased snacking by 55% compared to a 28% reduction by the placebo group. The decrease in appetite was 69% in the Supresa group versus 54% in the placebo group. There were no reports of side effects in the study groups, and compliance with the Supresa regimen was excellent.

What is Supresa Crave Control?

Supresa is an extract of Crocus sativus L. saffron stigmas, is rich in safranal, crocin and picrocin. This proprietary extract is standardized to >0.3% safranal. Supresa was developed to support weight management, by improving emotional wellbeing and decreasing snacking behavior. Unlike other products, SUPRESA does not act acutely to promote a feeling of ‘fullness.’ Rather, it induces a feeling of wellbeing and stress reduction over time to address the source of stress-related overeating and snacking.
