SLIMVANCE Wins an “Oscar” at Vitafoods in Geneva

PLT Health Solutions is proud to announce that our new ingredient – SLIMVANCE® Core Slimming Complex was the winner of the Best New Weight Management Ingredient of 2017 during the Nutraingredients Awards in Geneva on May 10th.

The NutraIngredients Awards are organized by NutraIngredients.com –  a key news source for the functional food & beverage and dietary supplement industries covering scientific, regulatory and industry issues for stakeholders in supplements and nutrition.

This year, Ingredient of The Year was awarded in a wide range of categories, including Healthy Aging, Weight Management, Sport & Energy, Immunity, Heart Health and Infant Nutrition. The other finalists in the Weight Management category were Glavolean® from Jamjoom Pharma and HOWARU® Shape from DuPont Nutrition & Health.

The design and results of the most recent clinical research on SLIMVANCE Core Slimming Complex offers a range of significant opportunities for your weight management products. The study participants included both men and women. The subjects were of a broad age range, and were a healthy population of overweight – not obese individuals – adding confidence to performance in the general population. The duration of this trial demonstrates steady, consistent weight loss – starting early, and supporting long-term weight loss success. What’s more, the trial demonstrates statistically significant slimming – with a reduction in waist circumference, and fat mass while maintaining lean body mass. Analyses indicate that statistically significant (p<0.0001) reductions in key parameters were observed beginning at day 14.
