PLT Appoints Alisa Ries as Business Development Manager Within North American Sales Team

Morristown, NJ 11 March 2024 – PLT Health Solutions, Inc. announced that it has appointed Alisa Ries Business Development Manager as part of the companies North American Sales Team. Ms. Ries brings more than twenty years of experience in a variety of sales and business development roles supporting clinically backed consumer product development, improving supply chain efficiencies and creating value-based approaches to providing ingredient solutions. In her new role at PLT, she will spearhead key account relationships and work with major consumer products companies in helping them understand the ways in which PLT’s broad portfolio of clinically supported ingredients can help them create disruptive new consumer products that meet existing and emerging consumer needs.

According to Mark Stephens, Vice President of Sales at PLT Health Solutions, the appointment of Ms. Ries is in line with the company’s goal of adding experienced, creative and solutions-driven people to its North American sales team. “During her career, Alisa Ries has demonstrated the ability to help her customers drive innovation in product development through relationship building and by understanding their product development culture. She has a broad knowledge of the ingredients business and the way those ingredients can impact product development in most major health and wellness categories,” he said. “We’re excited to have Alisa join our team and look forward to the impact she will have for both our customers and PLT’s business,” he added.

A Passion for Health & Wellness

Ms. Ries interest goes back to the earliest days of her career where she was a Corporate Wellness Coach. Immediately prior to joining PLT, she was Vice President Sales at NuScience Trading and Director of Business Development at Microbiome Labs, where she worked with Vitamin K-7 and a broad range of probiotic ingredient solutions. She helped these sister companies grow bulk ingredient sales and spearhead their private label/finished format business. Previously, she was Director of Business Development/Sales, Intermountain West at Novel Ingredient where she worked for fifteen years. She supported raw material ingredient sales, branded ingredient sales and manufacturing solutions such as custom pre-blends and other value added solutions to create true strategic partnerships.

According to Ms. Ries, her interest in joining PLT stemmed from the company’s desire to form partnership-type relationships with customers and the industry. “I was very interested in joining a company that values its customers and the people who service those customers. I had never seen anything like it in the industry. PLT creates dialogue with customers, and can problem solve in real time, creating real partnerships,” she said.
